• Basketball league for ages 55-99

This program meets at the 1st Baptist Activity Center on Independence on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.  If you love the game of basketball and are at least 55 years young, you are invited to play in the Senior Basketball League at the YMCA. Players must attend the practice sessions between leagues in order to be evaluated for ability. Players are drafted each league session by Team Captains to balance teams. We play 4v4 half-court and all games are officiated. Only registered and paid players will be drafted onto teams. Session length depends on the number of teams as each team plays all others an equal number of times before going into a single-elimination tournament. Tournament winning team gets Champions t-shirts. This is a competitive league playing full-length games.
